Prepare a grave search
Write down the full name, dates of birth and death, and any existing documents. The most useful location reference is the section, row and grave number.
If the grave reference is missing
Contact the responsible cemetery district with the person’s details:

- Open the official cemetery page
On the grounds
First check that the intended site is the cemetery opened in 1924 on Sossenheimer Weg. The older cemetery on Kurmainzer Straße is a different place. The official cemetery plan divides the site covered here into sections 1 to 14; the main entrance, ceremonial hall and historic central axis form the starting framework for a search.
The municipal listing gives section 3, V, nos. 31–33 for Friedrich Stolz and section 2, VI, nos. 9–12 for Hermann Schmitt-Vockenhausen. The sources used here do not provide a reliable grave reference for Chlodwig Poth. These are plan and register references, not GPS points; follow signs on the grounds or ask the administration.
