- Memorial to war victims and forced labourers: Stone memorial in the southern part of the cemetery.
- Parking on Sossenheimer Weg: Area centre of the roadside parking; maximum stay two hours.
- Friedhof Höchst bus stop: Stop for routes 50 and 58 south of the main entrance.
Adapt the route
The walk follows the historic concept of the grounds: from the portal on Sossenheimer Weg along the central axis continued from Carl Rohleder’s street layout to Paul Wempe’s ceremonial hall. The memorial to war victims and forced labourers lies in the southern area before the route returns to the main entrance.
The sequence is not signposted. Compare sections 1 to 14 with the official cemetery plan, treat the memorial as a quiet place of remembrance, and return through the main entrance; the neighbouring gate is not a visitor entrance.
Step-free planning
Path surfaces, gradients and temporary closures vary. If mobility is limited, choose the suitable entrance first and ask the administration about the best current route.
